• The artist and client need to agree on a project that can be completed by 15th April 2023.
• The client can choose which wild species they would like drawn (no people or pets), along with dictation of the following details: face/full body, moving/still, detail/sketch and mood, (background not included in keeping with the artists style).
• The client can provide sample images or personal photos for inspiration.
• The artist will provide 3 x sketch options based on above agreement for the client to choose the final piece from. Once agreement has been made the piece cannot change in any way. Sometimes aspects can be tweaked but please bear in mind that charcoal and natural pigment can’t always be rubbed out as it marks the white paper so not all modifications can be made.
• The artist is obliged to send one ‘work in progress’ image during the creation. And upon completion, will send a final image.
• The artist will sign and date the artwork.
• The artwork will be shipped unframed.
• The client will pay half the agreed amount to confirm the commission. And complete the payment upon agreed sketch before the artwork starts.
• Price point of each commission will be dependent on size, colour usage and level of detail.
• Postage and packaging will be arranged and calculated upon completion and paid by the client.
• All parties agree to be able to use the finished agreed image of the artwork on websites and social media. At all times referencing the artist, Violet Astor. Otherwise, permission must be granted from all parties.
• Reservation of Artist’s Rights: Artists need to clarify expressly that up to and including completion of the artwork, they retain legal rights of ownership of the work as a physical thing and of ail copyrights and moral rights which the law automatically gives to creators of original works: and that any changes in these reserved rights, if the commissioner so wishes, will be dealt with separately – but instantly, as follows.
