‘African Elephant’ is from a series of charcoal wildlife drawings. Violet uses an intricate technique on a large scale focusing especially on her subject’s innate characters. Here she captures the sheer size, power and strength of the African Elephant in a bold and detailed piece.

Violet wanted to capture the magnificence of the African Elephant to raise awareness that this beautiful creature is being hunted to extinction making it an endangered species.

Limited edition of 50 prints on Hahnemuhle German etch fine art paper, especially chosen to compliment the high quality giclee printing process, which best shows of the detail in each piece. Individually signed and numbered by the artist.
